Flexshapegripper
Flexshapegripper is a Norwegian invention that can pick a various different types of objects using a liquid filled silicone tip. The invention is done by Ole Iverssen and Jon-Eirik Maugenschou. The principle is based on the chameleon tongue. We took a 3D printed model and turned it into a fully working prototype with individually machinable parts and an easily changeable silicone tip. We produced the first ten products for end-users. All prototype components were manufactured in-house.
