HOW WE WORK

We have a wealth of experience in product development, industrial design and prototyping. We have deep knowledge of materials from textiles and plastics to alloys and metals - and combine CAD, 3D-printing, TIG and MIG welding, milling, lathing and moulding as necessary. Most tools and machines are available directly in our workshop. This allows us to rapidly develop models, iterate designs with clients, test end solutions and provide products that customers can relate to during the prototyping stages. Through our network we have the capability to produce both small and larger production runs of the end product.

Conceptual stage

When an idea is discussed and researched, we create models and drawings to illustrate the vision of the product. This often uncovers flaws in the original product design idea and opens up for new and improved solutions.

Prototyping

We like to move into prototyping as fast as possible. We often start out with sketches and light design explorations, and iterate on prototypes and 3D-prints when we can. We have a ‘product-eye’ and can work from a literal napkin-sketch to get a first prototype working.

Production planning

The product design is optimised in the production planning phase. The main focus is often on cost versus quality considerations, machining requirements and the selection of raw materials. We deliver final production drawings, parts and material lists.
